Or maybe you just want a getaway with great friends and even better horses!
Whatever your interest, we can help to make a relaxing and fun vacation a reality. The houses are your home away from home without the work. Let us handle the cooking and cleaning while you fill your days with fun and relaxation! The barn and turnout will be ready for your horse upon arrival so they can settle right in and relax too.
For the non-horse enthusiast, Ocala offers world class golf courses, biking, kayaking, canoeing, pristine crystal clear springs, shopping and restaurants. Maybe a quiet weekend under the stately Live Oaks reading a book is just what you need. Your wish is our command. If you can dream it up we will do our best to make it happen!

Sample Itinerary:
For a weekend trail ride vacation you could arrive on Thursday afternoon and settle yourselves and your horses. Dinner on your own. Friday morning includes a leisurely coffee while watching your horses relax in the paddock. After breakfast, load up your trailer for a brief 20 minute drive to Ross Prairie where you can ride for hours on beautiful sand trails. Meet back at the trailers for a 'tail gate lunch' before heading back to Acadia Acres for an afternoon relaxing at the pool. You could also include a boating tour in Homosassa or a round of golf! Everyone meets back at Acadia for a 6 pm bbq on the patio under the lights with friends and stories of the day.
Day 2 would start out with breakfast followed by morning lessons at Acadia. How can you help your trail horse stay fit? How to develop the correct muscles? Lessons with resident instructors will help you keep your riding partner in shape. For your afternoon entertainment an excursion to Palm Equestrian for a fun time on their great trail course. In the evening we will have a food truck coming for your dining pleasure - right here at the farm!
Day 3 is a quiet morning with fun on the farm. The afternoon includes adventures at Shangri-La trails with plenty of parking and miles of trails. Sadly its time to pack up your trailer for your Monday morning departure but there's still dinner and laughter on the patio!
Prices are based on 4 nights for 4 people in Lupine Lodge or Blueberry Bramble and 6 people in the Holly House. We have two RV hookups which include power, water and Wifi for $50/night. Extra guests welcome, price will be adjusted. Prices include housing, meals and stabling. Guided trails, lessons and extra curricular activities are additional.
