Florida Horse Park
The Florida Agriculture Center and Horse Park is a 500-acre, multipurpose facility and one of Central Florida's premiere venues for equine, agricultural, educational, and sporting events. The park currently hosts a variety of events, from international equestrian events to 5Ks, and rodeos to dog shows, as well as a variety of educational and sporting activities.
World Equestrian Center in Ocala
The World Equestrian Center Ocala welcomes horse enthusiasts from around the world as participants in top level equestrian sporting events or to simply enjoy as a spectator! The Ocala facility is located in the heart of Florida’s horse country known as “Horse Capital of the World.” WEC opened in December of 2020 with the Tom Powers Futurity and continues to bring us top notch, international events including horses, dogs, cars and conventions.
Visit Downtown Ocala
Ocala/Marion County supports a wealth of cultural activities, and we’re eager to share our local arts and culture with guests of all ages, from all over. Be sure to visit the historic sites and enjoy some of the many performing arts event going on throughout the year. The Downtown offers quaint shops, gourmet restaurants and events on the Square year round.
HITS Ocala Winter Circuit
The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit offers exhibitors 10 consecutive weeks of shows with two additional weeks of USEF-Rated shows—the Ocala Holiday Series—in mid-December. The extensive range of classes, offering over $4 million in prize money, and abundant show opportunities makes HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, Florida, a prime winter destination. The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit features USEF National and Premier-Rated Hunters, 5* and 6* Jumpers, two USHJA International Hunter Derbies and qualifiers for the HITS Championship. In February, HITS Post Time Farm will host the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of the United States of America for the fourth consecutive year. The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit culminates each March with the Great American $1 Million Grand Prix.
Ocala Breeder Sales - OBS Ocala
In 2017, 17 of the 20 horses in the Kentucky Derby had trained in Ocala at some point. Ocala has been home to famous horses such as American Pharaoh and Affirmed. What better place to find the next Triple Crown winner but at the Ocala Breeders Sales! Come watch and bid or just watch the young horses slated to be champions.
